WHAT ARE WE UP TO?
The future is bright with a resource centre accessible to the community to help develop various skills in arts and culture, access to reading and study space, drama, basic life skills of cookery and needlecraft. We are currently working on a number of projects, both internal and external, to continue to support our grannies and our community.
Completing our Space
We have finished the exterior construction of the Chem’balira Hall, and have some interior work to complete, along with installing a kitchen, washrooms, and security systems. To learn more about this project, click here.
Community Engagement
One of our main goals is to support the community in which our Grannies live. We have created a handful of community engagement and outreach projects for them to become involved in, such as our rug and sanitary napkin making projects, COVID-19 relief project, and our Christmas project.
